Have you heard of Numismatic coins and wondering if you can actually make money with them? In this post I will briefly discuss what Numismatic coins are and an awesome way for you to tap into this hot market to CREATE wealth and preserve it!
What Are Numismatic Coins? The Basics…
Well first of all let’s define the word Numismatics. As defined by the dictionary, Numismatics means “the study or collection of coins, paper currency, and medals.”
The origin of the word I believe is from the Latin word ‘Numisma’ which means coin. So someone who is interested in the study of the history and beauty of coins and currency is called a Numismatist. Try saying that word 10 times!
You see this really goes back to thousands of years when man began creating money to exchange. We probably started trading using rocks as money (not too sure about this one, hehehe) and as we evolved and discovered metals, gold and silver coins became the norm for many reasons. They were certainly way more attractive than rocks!
At the time, only rich people were able to collect coins. Nowadays, more people that ever collect coins. Coins that have a ‘collector’ value to them are known as Numismatic coins.
So if an ounce of silver coin costs say $33, then the Numismatic coin value for the same ounce is $33 plus its collection value plus the legal tender.
What Are Numismatic Coins? Type of people…
There are two types of people in this domain. The Avid collector and the Avid numismatist. The latter is more interested in the study of the coins. Their beauty, culture, history…. while a collector is, obviously a collector but may not be a numismatist.
Some numismatist are coin collectors as well.
What Are Numismatic Coins? Type of coins…
When it comes to collecting Numismatic coins, it would be beneficial to  know that they are usually split into 3 areas: Ancient coins, World Coins, US Type Coins.
Ancient coins are generally from old time up to the middle ages. The world coins are coins from all over the world while the US type coins are exclusively coins made in the USA.
These are split then into two types, the old coins pre 1982 and the modern issue, post 1982.
What Are Numismatic Coins? How you can make money and build wealth…
This is all great information but I always ask myself this question: How does this new (or any other) information change the quality of my life and bring me closer to my goals?
Otherwise, it’s just junk to know information for the heck of it… unless you have a real desire and passion to know this stuff.
What I have discovered is that with a company called Numis Network, I can actually collect these coins AND make money while doing that. This is such a great concept, building wealth while preserving it.
I don’t want to go through the details of that here but if you want to know more you can visit SilverRage.com for a 5 Video Report that I have personally prepared about how you can create money for yourself and what it really takes.
