MLM Reps… Never Give Up!

Building an MLM business requires diligent and committed work. Just like anything in life, sometimes we can get frustrated or tired, or whatever. This is why it is important for you to have you vision written out, you have pictures of what you’d like to accomplish.

The point here is you began an MLM business because you saw a VISION for you self in it. What was that vision? Was it to get away from the corporate world? Was it earn 3 times your income? Was it to get out of debt? Or was it to help get your daughter into college?

Or maybe you already earn a lot of money but you want to take control back of your time…

Go back and remind yourself. Ask you self this question, why? How would this business change my life? And if you are thinking about quitting… what are your other options?

Different Biz?

You see almost any other success in any business will require similar skill-set to your MLM business, so how do you really expect to do a more traditional business and be successful in that, if you can’t do that in MLM?

Get Employed?

Same holds true if you decided to remain an employee. Top people get there because of how they think more so of their technical capabilities, they know how to deal with people, which is the essence of MLM.

Go back to the corporate world, give up your dreams and desires? Come on let’s be real here… a lot of people are spinning their wheels. Some are satisfied, and good for them, but if you are like me… you MUST be hungry for more.

Study More?

Are you going to go back perhaps and get another degree? Well you are out of your mind. You can spend that money on learning how to market your business, become a leader and create income on demand, that is my personal opinion.

So, every time you think about quitting, ask yourself, what are my other options? Be careful don’t fall into the trap of creating excuses of why to quit. The real answer here is because you are afraid and don’t believe you can do it.

This mentality will be with you wherever you go, so you might as well stick to MLM and make it work, because once you do… it is almost the best thing ever!

I just updated my dream board the other day. As we change and grow as entrepreneurs our vision changes and grows along with us. Along with a strong vision, being around inspiring people such as yourself, is the next best thing to do.

Thanks preston for your kind comment. Yes our vision change and that is perfectly normal. To the top my fellow blogger!

Love this post John. You are right, sometimes when we are feeling defeated, it is so easy to think about other options, but the options all fall short of the freedom of MLM.

It is quite a unique industry, in a good way, isn’t it? :)

Great post, John! This is so true. We should keep our goals fresh in our mind – and have tunnel vision! The grass may look greener on the other side, but remember that it is tough to achieve anything worth having. So you will be challenged, but keep that tunnel vision going so you can get what you REALLY want!

Agreed Tara, there are so many distractions that sometimes it is hard to focus. Put your vision in front of you everyday and constantly remind yourself why you are doing this.

    Hi John,

Great questions from you to encourage those who are contemplating to quit to think hard! Yes, what are the options?

Many people who are in network marketing have probably researched some other options before joining a MLM company. For those network marketers who find that success is not quite there yet, I suggest them to take a really HONEST evaluation at the reason(s) why they are not there yet?

Are you living the authentic you? That is, are you truly embracing the industry, the company and the products? If yes, what are the challenges that you need to overcome? Tackling challenge after challenge by following a Successful Blueprint by a mentor leaves lesser and lesser room for doubt.

If you have already had a clear VISION of who you are, you would probably not be thinking of quitting at all. All your thoughts and energy would more likely be focused on the various tasks that will bring you there faster. That is you ARE already successful. You are on the Success Journey of becoming more and more successful each day.

I appreciate your insights, John :)

Hey Viola. Thanks for your contribution in the discussion. Success is a journey, it does not happen overnight.

    Thanks John, good post.

I love analysing why people are successful and those that aren’t in business. Why do those quit and others take action…

    • johnmoussan January 10, 2012 at 2:22 PM #

Yup, very interesting right? Same company, same products, same opportunities…. why?

What an excellent reminder John! If you think of ever giving up, remember there’s always a chance to go back and get a $50K loan for a secondary college degree, or continue working at a job that you hate for the rest of your life.

I love how you mention that the skills that you need to learn in MLM apply anywhere when it comes to being successful. Increase your skill and increase your results – PERIOD!

Love the “keeping it real” tone of this post John…it’s so my style ;)

    All the best my friend,

Agreed. Thanks Chante. Truly appreciate your comments :)

A very sensible post John, if people hold their vision, do what it takes to achieve it and never, never give in then they must succeed. It’s the only option left.

    • johnmoussan January 10, 2012 at 2:19 PM #

Hehehe! It is the only option left! I like that!

well being in business and being employed both have to do with building the mindset to reach the top…but being in business you reach the top of your team and help them as well and with a job you reach the top of the Rats..Like the King Rat……. either way your mind gets you there

    • johnmoussan January 10, 2012 at 2:18 PM #

Hey Tanisha, thanks for dropping by. I agree it has a lot to do with mindset!
