To Your Success,

Love your video John:) Running a business is all about balance. It’s a challenge though I find, not only do I run a business but I have a young family and am often juggling! I get put on the back burner. But it is so important to make the time.
Sadly the beach isn’t close by to us (plus it would be freezing!) but I’m taking the afternoon off and going out with my family as it’s my hubbie’s birthday. So although I work very hard on my business I also have the flexibility of choosing when I work and what I do with my “me” time.

Lilach I can’t imagine doing all what you do with kids running around. You are a champion! Yes flexibility is great so that you can find this important time to rejuvenate! Thanks for the comment.
Ok.. John.. I’m totally jealous.. lol.. Cuz today they are talking about a snow mix falling out of the sky.. lol.. Yet I agree with you message 100%. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves WHY.. we are doing what we do.. of course I would love to remind myself at the beach like you.. LOL.. Have a great one.. and keep smiling

Haha! That is funny! Yes I guess I do have the luxury, forgetting about that more than half the country is probably freezing now coming to December! And I sure will stay laughing!
Your are quite correct John and it does not matter how busy or driven you are, a day off from it all will be far more beneficial than not taking it would have been.

Sure is, I find it very rejuvenating!
Balance is key for long term success. It is a challenge especially when there are lots of distractions. Unplugging is really important when you are plugged in.
Thanks for the leadership,
Terry

On point here John! I cant tell you how rejuvenated I feel after I take a trip to the mountains. Not taking a break is more inefficient than efficient:)

Agreed! It is hard to see sometimes with so much going on!
Oh John, I love your message. I wish it were a little easier to do. My small business – mobile dog grooming – is taking the wind out of my sails while I try to build my networking business. I still have Sundays off, so maybe this Sunday I will go to the beach. I live in SW Florida so we have awesome weather here too.

You know a dear friend once said to me “sometimes you gotta live hell now to live heaven later”… not that I’m saying you are living hell now but I respect the fact that you take action towards your dreams and working hard towards your dreams! Send some pics if you had the chance!
John, what a great video, as I look outside at our first inch of snow.
It is true that we have to take some time for ourselves to keep balanced…. Can’t wait to go cross country skiing soon!
