Breaking Down The Wall Of Resistance To Achieve Your Fullest Potential

This post is about unleashing your warrior spirit to help you achieve the maximum out of your life. Today I was watching a video on youtube, an interview with Anthony Robbins and he said ‎”When your life does not match you expectations, you’re in pain.”

That struck home with me and I wanted to expand on it to help you move forward so read on!

Breaking Down The Wall Of Resistance To Achieve Your Fullest Potential

When I heard that from Anthony, I really could connect with it deeply. I know I’ve definately experienced that in the past and I see SO many people living in pain. Whether it’s physical, emotional or, if you, wish spiritual.

Break Down The Wall Of Resistance

In my journey I have learned some SEVERELY powerful principles of empowerment and one of them is the connection between the mind, spirit, and body (see this video interview that I have with an Ayurveda healer here about this topic).

When we look at our lives and we are not satisfied, this really causes all sort of problems in body and the mind. We are not in line with our visions on our way to achieve what we want.

This blockage can manifest as stress, emotional constriction, physical pain, disease (hint: dis-ease). It can really wreck havoc on your entire being, relationships, businesses and all other things.

The most DANGEROUS thing about this process is sometimes we are not aware that is happening. Someone might be sick or have a discomfort, they might think that a few pills can solve the problem.

Sure modern medicine has it’s place but open up your mind to perhaps the real problem here… your are not happy with your life or something is stressing you out.

I am not going to go into the more details, just understand that you may have deeper things you need to work on naturally balancing yourself so you can live in bliss, joy, happiness and abundance.

If you don’t think you can do that, come on! Why did you give up on your dreams? Why are you even on this blog?

Break Them Down…

So here is what you can do to break those walls of resistance down? First of all you GOTTA be willing to look inside yourself and around you and accepting responsibility that your life right now is a result of your own actions. Accept %100 responsibility for EVERYTHING, the good and the bad.

If you can’t, I believe you have no hope. But if you could, you will have TREMENDOUS power to achieve great things. Next, you want to become aware. You do this by educating yourself.

Free Yourself By Becoming Aware, Educating Yourself, & Taking Action

Buy some books, read some blogs, maybe book a coaching session, try different things you have not! BE OPEN MINDED. You never know what you will learn that will literally shift your life upside down.

Last step? ACTION! Become AWARE all the time and take action. Nothing will change if you don’t.

Are you in pain? Emotionally, physically, or spiritually? I would highly recommend you assess were you are in life right now and where you want to go.So fire up that warrior spirit that you have inside of you, because I know you have it inside. You just gotta fire it up, empower it and run with it.

Do everyone you know a favor by sharing this enlightening knowledge

    Hello John!
First time on your blog and I enjoyed this post. These are truly wise words from a man who obviously has looked deep into himself. I couldn’t agree more with you on all your points. (1) you’ve got to take responsibility for your life “as is” (whether you like it or not). (2) You’ve got to know what you need to know to go from ignorance to awareness. (3) You’ve got to connect with that warrior within and do what it takes to create the life you deserve.

Welcome Srinivas. Thank you for your kind words. :)

Great post John. I really do think that people don’t try enough or take action. Things are too difficult and not as easy as they thought they would be so they give up too easily.

I’m always telling my daughter to work hard, try harder and giving her more confidence not to give up when things don’t go her way – she’s 7 and gets frustrated when she can’t get her maths right first time!!

If business was so easy everyone would be doing it – but it’s not it takes a huge amount of effort, hard work and if you don’t take action you won’t get any results.

You are a great mom Lilach! Empower them as kids, probably the most powerful thing we can do.

I agree John, when we accept 100% responsibility for our actions then we can start to take charge of where we want to go in life.

Hi John. I believe you hit the nail on the head when you spoke of taking responsibility. You can’t really address any of your issues unless you do, can you? I’ve found that the people with the most problems, those who are the most miserable. all blame their lot in life on someone or something else.

This creates a victim mindset, and makes real change impossible. It disempowers the person. If I’m responsible for my situation, then, by God, I can change it.

Taking responsibility means taking back your power.

Awesome post, John. Thanks for sharing!

Gregory, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I agree %100 with what you say! Interesting how miserable = blame = no control of life = victim mentality… that can be changed.

My coach told me once, for things to change I must change, for things to get better I must get better…and what we resist we get more of.

This is a process and if we continue to work on ourselves things will indeed change.

    Hi, John,

I appreciate your sharing. Indeed, the mind body and spirit connection can impact on many levels of our lives.

Great point about AWARENESS! Unless we are aware that we are 100% responsible for our current circumstances, we will continue to live our lives by default. Any suggestion for exploring or personal development will be blocked by our ego or perception.

I find the workshop by Brian Klemmer a powerful training to really wake people up. He uses the sunglasses analogy to draw people’s attention to the REALITY that what they believe in may be the PERCEIVED reality, not the real one! Google klemmer for more information.

Keep up the great work, John :)

Love Tony Robbins, John. Funny thing… at the mastermind this past weekend, we talked extensively about blockages and making the necessary mindset changes to overcome them. Being aware of their existence is the most difficult part. Thanks for a great post!

    Great post John,

I am so with you on all the steps one must take to get past resisting success or happiness. You are a great motivator ;)

To add to the comment that Terry left, one of my coaches told me “what we resist will persist.” Good post John, I have found live events and seminars to be one of the most powerful things in helping me get through barriers.

Wow great post for sure John. I just discovered you today through another blog and yet I can’t seem to leave your blog. You have awesome content and one day I hope to get as well versed in writing as you have. You truly are passionate about teaching others regardless of which field they are in when it comes to the industry of networking. I have also learned that in order for things around you to change, you have to change! The Serenity Prayer helps me with that regards. I can’t change others except myself! I can only pray for them and help them if they seek it.

Thank you Richard for your kind words. :) Anything is possible if you are determined. I love this prayer :) thanks for sharing!
