The Innergize Method™ 8-Part Series: Leadership (Part 2)

Quote 7 (2)

A significant problem that I’ve noticed in entrepreneurs (and people in general) is that they want to lead others – typically by forceful authority – before they learn how to properly lead themselves. They want to tell people what they should do, how they should do it, and when to do it. Yet, they are completely unaware that they don’t lead themselves effectively.

This is a recipe for a failed relationships and a failed business. I don’t blame you if you behave like this. I used to be the same. For some, it comes natural, but leadership can be taught and learned. When I took charge of every single decision and action in my life and business, a beautiful thing happened…

My business grew, more opportunities flowed to me and the quality of my life changed tremendously. I experienced powerful and empowering change when I became a genuine and effective leader of my life. As I discovered, this was also a prerequisite for helping others. For you to be able to grow your business, crush your goals and change your life forever, you have to make sure you have the basics right.

For you to be able to grow your business, crush your goals and change your life forever, I highly advise you to make sure you have the basics right. Therefore, in Part 2 of The Innergize Method™, I want us to go back to the basics of leadership, which is bringing out the leader within you.

Back to Basics

Part of growing your business is learning how to effectively and efficiently lead yourself every single day. Remember that this is part of The Innergize Method™, and not stand-alone advice. When you start making positive decisions and taking positive actions, their vibrational energy will naturally attract more of the positive things into your life as dictated by the Law of Attraction.

This related back to Part 1 of our conversation. If you don’t follow or understand what I just shared above, make sure you go back and read Part 1. It will make sense.

So how do you become an effective and powerful enough leader to be able to grow your business? Well, how about you start by mastering the art of self-leadership. Here are some of the major areas that I found to be very valuable in developing the leader within you:

Integrity is your moral character. It’s when you do what you said you’re going to do. It’s also what you do when others aren’t looking. It’s when you refuse to compromise when you know what’s the right thing to do.

Awareness is simply recognizing what is going on and the factors influencing the specific event. This could be awareness of your thoughts and emotions that directly affect your actions and results. You gain awareness by educating yourself and being observant.

Self-discipline is doing what you know needs to be done, regardless of how you feel about it. It’s when you push through when “you don’t feel like it”, for example. However, don’t confuse self-discipline with “forcing”. Typically when you’re trying “to force” something, you’re not living in your joy and you’re not following your bliss.

Purpose & Vision

Do you know what your life’s purpose is? If not, that’s something you might want to consider exploring as it can give you tremendous joy and energy. Also, do you have a vision for your business and for your life? It’s worth spending an afternoon contemplating about this and reduce it to writing.

Attitude & Drive

Don’t expect to grow your business to where you want it to be without a great positive attitude and an insatiable drive to accomplish your mission. Attitude is a mindset issue, while drive is, in my opinion, a purpose issue. That’s where you gotta look if you’re lacking in this area.

Self-leadership also means that you understand how to set priorities in your business and life. As simple as this task is, I come across entrepreneurs all the time who don’t necessarily set the right priorities to help them accomplish their objectives because the associations imprinted in their mind don’t help them with the right knowledge to set the right priorities.

Positive Change

Always seek empowering and positive change. Typically, that’s what most entrepreneurs think they are doing (otherwise they wouldn’t do it) but they keep shooting themselves in the foot. It’s because of the lack of education, awareness and discipline. By education, I don’t necessarily mean a college education.

Problem Solver

Never say “it can’t be done” or “I can’t do it”. There’s always a way. If you want to grow your business, you have to be able to solve problems and just get it done! No excuses.

The Innergize Method™ is a comprehensive approach I’ve developed for entrepreneurs to grow their business, crush their goals and change their lives forever. In Part 1, we discussed the absolute foundation for this approach, which is lifting up your DVE so that you’re working along with the Laws of the Universe instead of against them.

When you do, things will flow easier and quicker. But we still have to take action. This is where self-leadership comes. To have the discipline to lift your DVE, have the discipline to take charge of your health, relationships and business activities.

It all ties together. The split of work and life is non-existent as much as people want to believe it exists. They always filter into each other consciously or subconsciously, and I’d like to teach you how to use that to your advantage.

Now is the time for you to take charge of life and it all start with your leadership over yourself.
