Cool video John – I’m familiar with the different personality types, but haven’t heard of the Red, Blue, Yellow & Green version.. What a very helpful and simple way to understand it! Thanks for sharing : )

There are couple of ways to present that… I thought the colors are the easiest. Learned that from Jerry Clark.

John…I am proudly a GREEN!!! I have a little yellow in there too. It’s so neat that you understand colors and personality. This stuff is so so important!!

    Hey John

Great Post! and you’re absoloutely right, different people have different type of personality ..
The starting point of understanding people is to realize and accept the fact:
    Everyone is not like you!

    Great Post! very useful :)

    keep up the good work

John, nice video. I first learnt about the four personality types at NES 3, when I got a free gift of a training system which explains the differences and how to deal with them all. It is really interesting stuff, especially knowing the signs when somebody just wants the facts or somebody else wants a load of information before they will make a decision!

    Keep up the good content.

Thanks Alan. Yeah I believe that this stuff really makes a big difference in connections.

Good stuff John. I think a lot of people have multiple types in them so figuring people out can be a challenge. But, if we listen we will know how to talk to them. Being a red, all this fluffy stuff wastes time…I want people just to get it faster. lol

Oh yeah, it can absolutely be a challenge. :) I have no doubt you have a very shining red personality in there but I also know you care.

    John,

This is a really informative video. I am definitely a red with a touch of green in me. What’s most interesting is that I tend to have a lot of blue friends, where I can’t seem to get a word in edgewise. lol! These people, I think, are the most challenging to recruit into my business because I tend to choose those businesses that make sense and have little hype. =) Knowing now what I should focus on to draw their attention is going to be very helpful while prospecting in the future.

Thanks again for your insight. You always create such unique content on your blog that I always feel like I’m a better person for having visited your site. =)

Hey Juli, thank you so much for your compliment. I take a lot of pride in most if not all the content that I produce and glad to know that it is helpful people who read or watch it. Everyone has all the colors but we do have a dominant that we revert to! Go Juli!

    Hey John,

I love reading about the different personalities because although I’ve studied these before, I still have a hard time recognizing them quickly in each person.

I say that because I actually am a little bit of two different ones myself so I think for me it’s harder to pin point when I’m talking with someone. I know practice makes perfect and I obviously haven’t been doing enough of that yet for it to catch on but I still find this interesting.

Love the video you did explaining this so thanks for including that.

    Hope you’re doing well.

Yeah, it was one of the ways that I improve communications. It takes some practice and makes a lot more sense to why people sometimes behave they do.

A very interesting post John and the video was well worth watching. I know we have to approach different people differently, according to how they react to us, but lets not also forget to be ourselves. Don’t try to be someone you are not just to please your prospects, they will see through that.
